Montessori Lead Toddler Teacher

Montessori Lead Children's House Teacher

The Lead Montessori Teacher is responsible for implementing the Montessori method to support the academic, social emotional growth and development of all children in their care. You will develop a partnership with parents and other caregivers to engage them in the growth and development of their child. You will collaborate and work alongside other Lead Montessori Teachers and Assistant Teachers to provide high quality care, this may include being mentored by your colleagues or mentoring other teachers. You will also be a member of the evaluation team and will give regular feedback to the Assistant Teachers you work with . You will play a role in the development of programs, nature-based experiences, and development of outside spaces. You will be responsible for maintaining a high-quality prepared environment including inventory and care for the materials.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to pass background checks and complete pre-employment training by the Colorado Department of Early Childhood Education Department.

  • At least 18 years old and hold a minimum of a high school diploma.

  • Has strong communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Has excellent organizational skills.

  • Is solutions oriented.

  • Is flexible and excited about creating something new and innovative.

  • Can manage multiple tasks at one time.

  • Is self-reflective and seeks ways to grow.

  • Collaborates well with large and small groups.

  • Must hold a Montessori certification and the ability to become director qualified.

  • Preferred: 5+ year(s) experience working with 18 month to 6-year-olds.

Substitute Teacher
Parker, CO
Black Forest, CO

 

The Substitute Teacher is responsible for supporting the Montessori method under the supervision of the Lead Montessori Teacher. You will support the academic, social emotional growth and development of all children in your care. You will collaborate and work alongside other Lead and Assistant Montessori Teachers to provide high quality care both inside and outside the classroom.  During different times of the day, you may be in a classroom supporting Lead Teachers, floating from classroom to classroom providing breaks or other support, and running the extended day program. You will be a key member of the extended day program helping to develop a program that is safe, engaging, and fun for both teachers and students.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to pass background checks and complete pre-employment training by the Colorado Department of Early Childhood Education Department.

  • At least 18 years old and hold a minimum of a high school diploma.

  • Has strong communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Preferred: Willingness to and work towards becoming Early Childhood Teacher qualified and/or Montessori certification.
